Hello,
My name is John Leming and I am interested in a brewing position in the Philly, NJ or New York areas. I am currently working for a large scale brewery in Portland, Oregon and I am in the process of relocating to Philadelphia. I feel that I would be a valuable asset to your team and I would love to have the opportunity to work for your company.
I have been working in a brewery setting for over four years and have the skills and ambition necessary to assist your company in reaching its full potential. My experience ranges from working at a home brew supply store to my current position as a brewer in a 120,000 barrel per year brewery. This variety of experience enables me to have a wider understanding of the brewing industry and gives me first hand insight to how imperative teamwork and flexibility are in maintaining a successful brewery.
I have also been a home brewer for six years and am experienced in selling home brew supplies in a hands-on, retail setting. Integral aspects of the position included developing strong customer/employee relationships, trouble shooting with the customers and helping them with the technical aspects of brewing. Additional responsibilities consisted of assisting the owner with inventory management.
As a home brewer, I have had the freedom to experiment and perfect unique beers in a small batch system; my years of professional brewing have taught me how to consistently replicate a brewery's core beers. This combination of creativity and reliability enables me to brew the perfect beer for any range of clientèle.
