Troegs Brewing Company, a small, family-owned brewery located in Harrisburg, PA, has an immediate opening for a full-time second shift brewer. We are looking for someone with production level brewing experience and/or a brewing education. This person should be dependable, self-motivated and detail oriented. We seek someone who has a passion for quality beer, takes pride in their work and has the ability to work well independently and with a team.
Responsiblitites include: operating our 25 bbl. Braukon brewhouse, including milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, hop additions and wort cooling. Brewers are also responsible for filtration, beer transfers, yeast management, and cleaning and sanitation of all brewing vessels and production areas. Brewers must be able to repetitively lift 55 lbs., work flexible shifts with varying hours, including weekends and holidays, and volunteer to work at beer festivals.
