Foothills Brewing is a brewpub/self-distributing brewery in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Foothills opened on St. Patrick’s Day, 2005. We will celebrate our 3 year anniversary in two weeks, and in 2007 produced about 2300 barrels on a 15 barrel system. We sell our beer at our pub and at bars/restaurants around North and South Carolina on draft.
Foothills has an immediate opening for a skilled, experienced, and motivated brewer who wants to be part of a team. Salary depends on experience. The applicant must have at least 3 years prior brewing experience. The applicant’s experience must include at least 1 year in a packaging brewery, and must love kegs more than anything in this world! The job entails all aspects of brewing, racking, filtering (DE and plate and frame), and lots of kegging. Bottling experience is also a plus. The brewer position requires the applicant to be able to lift 55 lbs repeatedly. Also, a clean driving and criminal record is necessary.
