Greetings,
I am looking to turn my love of beer & brewing into a career. My goal is to secure an entry-level production/cellarman/assistant brewing position with a high-integrity brewery or brewpub. Ideally, I'd like to find a company wherein my communications skills, technological acumen and love of brewing will be allowed to flourish in an environment conducive to growth and professional success for all parties involved.
For the last 18 months I have been spending time hanging out at the Zion Canyon Brewing Company, a 15 bbl microbrewery located at the Majestic View Lodge in Springdale, Utah getting to know the ins and outs of microbrewery operations, everything from brewing to bottling.
In addition to my tangible skills, I am a 6 year homebrewer who enjoys not only brewing but also creating my own recipes, such as my Watermelon Ale, Pumpkin Ale & Blueberry Ale, as well as being a beer aficionado who is well-versed in homebrewing techniques and procedures. Most importantly, I am eager to work with, and learn from, brewers in order to one day pursue a career in brewing and brewpub operations.
