Position: Warehouse Assistant
Company: High West Distillery
Location: Salt Lake City/Park City, Utah
Immediate Supervisor: Lead Distiller
Position Summary
High West Distillery is Utahs first micro Distillery with production currently located in Salt Lake City. With our first product on the store shelves and two more in development, we are in need of a Warehouse Assistant to help share the work load. Duties and responsibilities will be quite varied initially, as we are still in start-up mode, and will advance quickly. Primarily this position will consist of any and all areas of warehouse production downstream of the brewing and distilling operations.
Responsibilities
Initial Duties and responsibilities will include:
Tank cleaning and sanitation.
Warehouse cleaning, maintenance, and organization.
Warehouse Shipping and receiving.
Blending, Bottling, and packaging.
Supervision of bottling crew.
Qualifications (minimum)
A passion for small batch, flavorful micro brewed beers and spirits.
Bachelors degree in the life sciences.
Ability to handle several detail oriented tasks at one time.
Ability to work independently, within a team, and to supervise small teams.
Basic understanding of measurements (metric and U.S.), conversions, and calculations.
Preferred Qualifications
Educational background in Microbiology, Chemistry, or related.
Homebrewing/Microbrewing experience.
Warehouse experience.
Schedule will consist mainly of 8-5 weekdays, however some weekend work will be needed on occasion. Wage is $10-14 hr. and will depend on experience.
