We are seeking a swing shift (2:30pm-10pm) Maintenance Mechanic to maintain all plant process and packaging equipment in optimal working order. If you are mechanically inclined, enjoy troubleshooting, find satisfaction in maintaining and repairing machines, are customer service oriented, and have a sense of urgency to repair items in an emergency, this the job for you!
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3-4 years of mechanic experience, preferably in the food/beverage industry, some technical coursework, and a valid driver’s license. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Candidates will also possess excellent organizational and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the flexibility to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as business needs require. Position requires lifting up to 100lbs, working high while standing on ladders, working in tight/cramped spaces and/or in awkward positions for extended periods of time, working on and around potentially dangerous equipment/machinery, handling hazardous materials, exposure to high noise levels, and working in a variety of outside weather conditions.
