Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is seeking a dependable, self-motivated, team oriented person to join our brewing team. The brewer is responsible for the day to day brewing operations from receipt of raw materials, combining of recipe ingredients through to assisting cellar staff with the delivery of finished beer to packaging. You will be required to take ownership of the process on your scheduled 10-hour shift, which will rotate to include nights and weekends. Plus other duties as required and/or assigned.
We seek a reliable person who is detail and quality oriented, takes a sense of pride in their work and who is interested in growing with us. You must be able to closely adhere to procedures and guidelines, including following recipes per exact specification and implementing detailed cleaning regiments. Must have had formal training at an accredited brewing school or Associates degree in an applicable science. Must have a minimum of 2 years’ practical brewing experience in a production environment. Must be able to lift 55 pounds, twist/turn, reach over shoulders, bend/stoop and stand/walk on a continual basis. Familiarity with our products is a plus!
