Title: Craft Beer National Sales Director - NYC/NJ Area
Summary:
We are seeking a high-energy, aggressive, and motivated National Sales Executive who wants to lead a dynamic marketing and sales force and advance in their sales careers.
This position oversees all people, all new and existing distributors, pricing, programming, budgets and forecasting, and also serves as the company’s key link to the state of the business across every market in the region.
Must possess a thorough understanding of distribution workings, national accounts, brand building, people development, basic computer skills and pricing dynamics. P&L Responsibility Required.
Must be eager to learn, grow, manage chaos and at the same time have fun doing so.
Must have a clean driving record, Motor Vehicle Record checks may be conducted for all candidates
There are three components to the position: people development; building distributor partnerships and brand & market development. Like all members of the team, this person is required to have fun while being an Ambassador of good beer and good cheer.
People Development:
Responsible for overseeing development plans for all team members including annual reviews, quarterly progress reports, skill development days and succession plans.
Developing Strong Distributor Partnerships:
Develops true partnerships with all new and existing distributors by adding more value than our competitors through the contributions of our people, sales systems, brands, brand support tools, and a general good-natured way of conducting business.
Market & Brand Development:
Oversee the growth and development of our brands in all markets within a specific region while ensuring that the brand’s integrity is never compromised. Calls on key accounts as needed. Ensure that execution of quality standards are carried out nationally at all times.
Territory & Scope:
All areas that exist between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
Qualifications:
5 plus years as a rising star in beverage sales, national accounts and wholesale distribution management.
