I have several Omron Temperature Controllers, NIB.
Model #5GN-R1TC 100-240VAC.
This is a versatile controller that was intended to be installed at my brewery, but never used. I am set up for 24VDC solenoids so I didn't want to convert over to ac power solenoids. This can run on VDC power but the control voltage has to be VAC. These are retailing close to $200 each, I will sell them for $80 each or $75 each if you buy all 14. These will accept all of the different kinds of Thermoprobes and is self learning. You can ramp temperature up or down gradually depending on the application. Can be used to control Steam solenoids for mash tuns, kettles or hot liquor tanks. For cold applications like glycol temperature controls for fermenters, serving tanks and cold room temperature control. Also set up to use infrared temp sensors. Has an alarm port for beepers or horns. Shipping is about $9 for one to 7 controllers. Send questions to: iamlagergnome(at)yahoo.com
Would consider exchanging some or all of these for a quality two stage stainless heat exchanger used. I have a dairy plate & frame and it gives me fits several times a year. I also have a 40 Gallon self contained steam kettle, 3phase 220V. Found a severed wire in the control box that was disconnected, but it may require servicing or reconfigure the wiring to run off 220V single phase. Im told that a jumper can be moved by a restaurant equip guru. $500, all stainless with crank tilt and large gate valve. Great for pilot batches or conversion to glycol chilling for use with a temperature controller as a yeast brink. Again, had great plans to use it but ended up going on the back burner.
I'm interested in the controllers. Have they been used or are they still in the box. If so, when are they available. Don't have any thing to barter. Peter
