Expanding Production Brewery Needs Experienced Bottling Line Operator/Packaging Manager
Job Summary:
Job duties will include (but are not limited to) maintaining, repairing and operating production filling and packaging machinery. Performing preventive / predictive maintenance, and trouble-shooting.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
1. Maintain, repair, and operate 12 oz. filler line. This will include filling, labeling, and capping equipment.
2. Train assistant machine operators on the proper use of equipment and machinery.
3. Ensure safety compliance of assigned machinery and equipment in regard to use and maintenance.
4. Perform daily clean-up and organization of maintenance area, tools and supplies.
5. Trouble-shooting.
6. Perform preventive / predictive maintenance.
7. Observe problems with equipment, component, raw materials or product and adjust accordingly.
8. Schedule bottling runs with head brewer.
9. Inventory control and ordering.
10. Maintain product inventory.
11. Evaluate and adjust procedures as necessary.
12. Keg cleaning and filling.
13. Growler cleaning and filling.
Knowledge, certifications, skills and abilities:
1. Demonstrated working knowledge of mechanical systems related to packaging processes.
2. Knowledge in the use, maintenance and care of tools, equipment and machinery.
3. Strong mechanical and logical ability.
4. Demonstrated ability to work well independently.
5. Demonstrated ability to perform preventive / predictive maintenance and repairs.
6. Excellent team skills.
7. Experience working in a production and packaging facility preferred.
