Anyone using anything similiar to the old Ecopaks out there. I'm looking for a source of them on the east coast if possible.
Thanks

They work great for us, however, some retail accounts did not like them at first. We invented the "Ice chest ready" marketing scheme and that seem to help.
One day a customer came in and was going on and on about how they loved the plastic six pack carriers. Customer went on to explain that he can place a six pack in his ice chest without removing the carrier and if he does not get through all the beers he can pull the six pack right out and put it back in the fridge: "Ice Chest Ready Six Pack Carriers".
In our neck of the woods, Shasta County, CA (Northern California) summers are hot and lakes, swimming, fishing, camping, hiking, is the name of the game.
We have a winner with the "Ice chest ready six pack carriers".

Last time I looked the site was long gone. Now its back and update from what I can find archived. No answer at the # listed but I try.
I personally don't have a problem with the plastic carriers but too many complaints from accounts and even consumers in my neck of the woods.

We've been using the plastic holders for several years now. Found they are much cheaper than the "traditional" holder. Our customers love them. We also stress they are as recyclable as a milk jug. We have great labels and these holders show them off!

We've spoke in the past about them. You actually gave me ideas for an applicator. I'm just not getting that good of a response from retailers or consumers. Any idea about how to better market them

You could stress how they make your product stand out from all the other beers on the shelf: "it looks unique, so's our beer" sort of angle. It's up to you but maybe you could give a price break due to the reduced packaging cost. One thing we do in our tasting room is offer a mixed-pack. Whatever six beers and/or root beer the customer want, we rack 'em up right in front of them. Maybe the accounts could offer something similar. These things are a relatively new idea, might take time for accounts to catch on.
Luck to ya',
Prost!

I really like the "recyclable as a milk jug" line. I'm going to use that.
