Carolina Beer Company in Mooresville, NC (just north of Charlotte) is looking to hire an experienced cellar person. We produce 12 beer styles under our two brands, Carolina Blonde and Cottonwood. We operate a 50 bbl DME brewhouse and offer kegging, bottling, and canning capabilities.
This is a full time hourly position, working Monday-Friday with some Saturdays from time to time. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid vacation and holidays.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Fermentation management
Yeast handling
CIP of tanks
Filtering
Assistance with kegging, bottling, and canning
Brewing (back-up for head brewer)
Applicants should be prepared for long, wet days in a production environment, where heavy lifting, dangerous chemicals, and lots of beer are always present.
Applicants should have experience in a production brewery, formal brewing education, and be willing to work independently. Mechanical aptitude is a plus. Guildos are encouraged to apply!
