Position Summary
Karl Strauss Brewing Company is looking for a full-time Bottling Line Lead position at our brewery in San Diego. This position will primarily be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our bottling line, and work closely with logistics, brewing, quality control and logistics.
Responsibilities include: Ensuring packaging department workplace safety. Operate, maintain and repair our 12oz and 22oz bottling line. This includes experience with filling, labeling and crowning equipment. Train bottle line operators on the proper use of equipment and machinery. Perform daily clean-up and maintenance of the bottle line area. Develop SOP’s for operations and workplace safety.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Beverage or food packaging line experience is required. Demonstrated working knowledge of mechanical systems related to packaging process required. Must have excellent supervisory and communication skills. Must have excellent team skills. Must be flexible and be able to work additional hours as required. Brewery experience and a college degree are preferred.
