I am a few months from ordering equipment for a new brewery and I am having some trouble figuring out how many 5 and 15.5 gallon kegs I will need.

I am looking at using a 15BBL system, brewing 2 batches per week for the first year. I want to have about 5 15.5 gallon and 10 5 gallon kegs available per week. I want most of my business going into supermarkets and liquor stores, but I don't want to ignore the bar/home kegerator market. I will also need beer for fests.

1. Does this sound reasonable? Should I plan for more or less? What turn around time are you seeing on your kegs?

2. What number of kegs should I be looking to buy/lease to start with?

What would you suggest? What did you start with?

Thanks,
