Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company seeks a skilled, creative, and disciplined individual to join our team as a Maintenance and Facilities Engineer/Technician. This position will require late shift and weekend work on occasion. The ideal candidate must posses the following skills and characteristics:
> College degree, technical degree, or technical training in a relevant field.
> Maintenance experience in a manufacturing, military, or service industry
> Electrical knowledge—basic wiring and electronics
> Experience with motors, pumps, conveyors, refrigeration, plumbing, welding, and general construction.
> Experience with steam boilers, piping, and related maintenance
> Experience with general plumbing, including air, water, and sewer
Brewery experience is not required but may be considered an advantage, depending on the type and duration of experience.
Job duties will include
> Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all machinery and equipment used in the brewery—from the fork-lift to the cold room compressor.
> Set-up and commissioning of new equipment
> Assist with layout and design of new processes
> Manage construction projects
> Fabricate and modify equipment as needed
Additional duties may include brewing, cellaring, and packaging depending on the interest of the candidate in such activities.
Salary based on experience and skills.
