Mashin' Out

Question for all you manual labor brewers out there, we shovel our mash out by hand and are looking for some sort of pump/vaccum system to replace our aching backs. Anyone out there have any ideas for equipment sources, or feedback as to what you may be using? Any help in this direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, the Mad Brewers at Mad River.

Traditionally, you need a plough in your mash tun to get the grain out; you may be able to retrofit or come up with something innovative. Once the grain is out of the MT, consider a progressive cavity pump (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Progressive_cavity_pump) (e.g. Moyno, seepex) to move it from A to B.
