Hello all,

Long time brewer, first time thread poster.

I'm looking to resurface some floors in my brewery. Has anyone used a product known as Perma-crete? (Polar-crete in Canada?)

Just wondering if it holds up any better than the old two part epoxy trick?

Mahalo!

I've never liked the epoxy since it generally delaminates from the concrete under surface in areas of high/regular use. I prefer gunite which is easily found and far cheaper than epoxy/ft. It does reqire someone who is used to spreading concete. IT is very strong but will chip if feathered too thin. Original concrete surface must be very clean and w/o oil.For feathered edges I cut with a concrete blade several 1/2 " slots ringht at the edge and feather the edge to it.This generally makes the edge have strenght to last well.CHEERS
