Hi, friends:
I want to know how could someone calculate to construct a 100 tm malt silo,i.e. a ton of malt how much volume occupy.
Thanks

In order to determine the volume of a ton of malt you have to speak with your malt supplier. Find out what the typical bushel weight of the malt is. Or whatever equivalent volumetric measure they use. From this you can calculate approximate silo size since a bushel is a volumetric measurement and you have the weight. They can tell you how many cubic feet or meters (or whatever unit you choose) are in a bushel or equivalent measure.
For volume you'll have to use volume of a cylinder + volume of a cone to get the total volume of the proposed silo.
