Obviously, it's different from place to place, but I'm trying to get a range for insurance for brewpubs. Our place will be about sixty seats. I need some numbers to plug into my business plan. I'll be getting an actual quote later, but I don't have all of the relevant information just yet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Best,
Ben Dooley

Call up Whalen Insurance. They have a brewery insurance plan. I spent just a few minutes on the phone with someone (I can't remember her name just now) and she gave me ball-park numbers for insuring a microbrewery when I was working on my plan. She was real nice about it.

Just doing a search for insurance myself. I've run brewpubs, but this is the first time I get to purchase insurance. Was wondering - what answers did you find, Ben?

Jake,
I talked with a few folks from Whalen and got a ballpark from $20-30K
Of course, it all depends on the specifics of your place. I think Whalen has an online quote form you can use.
