Howdy, all.

I'm working on a startup brewery budget, and I'm looking for a couple of figures. I'm wondering how much beer per barrel I should expect to lose under normal operating conditions. I'm also looking for a number to plug into my CO2 costs. Any help would be great. Thanks much!

Always best to overestimate losses, 20% is a good round number for a startup, looks conservative on paper and easy to work with. After this, once you're running smoothly you can dial in better with your equipment and increase your profitability :)

Your CO2 cost will be greatly determined by whether you buy it bulk or in canisters.
For bulk, a good contact is Air Liquide http://www.airliquide.com
