Mash Tun 'Wedge wire' void design

I am trying to design a false bottom for a 6500L brew length vessel (infusion). I have been looking at wedge-wire, but do not know what spec is recommended? The only references I have seen are designing to voids between 0.7 and 1.1 mm..... Is this correct?

It sounds about right, but here is a link to a german group who is selling used segments of false bottom from large breweries (huppmann) I have picked up some these they are very well made and half the price as new-
