I live right near Dover, (uk) and spend as much time as I can in Belgium and Northern France; as well as having parents in Northern Italy, and the rest live in the Bay Area, CA.
I have travelled so much recently and probably more than most...
but it never ceases to amaze me the disparity between duty rates and the local legislation on our beloved beverage!
The difference between here and Italy is phenomenal!
So, what's your local rate?
How do you pay it? (as in pay and reclaim, or straight payments, or what?)
I know here under 5000hl, we are benefiting from a rate relief - but still I have to go do another job to be able to brew...
I'm just curious as to what are the worldwide rates, and what support do you get, and who is the best and worst off?
