Anyone have an opinion on floor sinks versus trench drains?

depending on the size of the brewery and if you like to squeegee alot - go with pitched floors and trench - IMHO.

The current design is that all floors are 20'x25'(total of 12) sections that are pitched(1/8"/ft.) to a center floor drain with a basket for catching debris. I was concerned about the volume a floor trench would hold versus one basket. We have a lot of drains throughout the place, so I don't think it's going to be an issue. One of those things that woke me up in the middle of the night...

In the brewery world there are trenches...and there is everything else. The trench rules, all others suck.
get the slope of the floor right too.
