I'm new to the industry, with four months of experience at a 7-bbl brewpub. I'm taking over the brewery in the next month or so. Really love what I'm doing, but feel like a novelty act! Where are the rest of the brewsters?
Cheers!

I know of two, give a shout out to Doc at the BJ's in Chandler, AZ about the subject. Also in the Wisconsin Dells at the Moosejaw Brew Pub dellsmoosejaw.com ask for Jamie.

Marcy Larson, along with her husband Geoff, founded the Alaskan Brewing Co. in the mid 80's. They're great folks and very respected in the industry.
My wife, God rest her, used to assist me.. both at my home location and on road trips where I would be working out of town at other company locations. She became a pretty competent brewer in her own right...

Barbara Groom founded and is owner of Lost Coast Brewing Company in California, I believe the first woman head brewers in the industry.

In Canada, I think there's women brewing for:
3 Brasseurs
MacAuslan
Tin Whistle
I'm sure there's more, but memory escapes me.

Hi Kristi. I have definitely been in your shoes before. I have worked at 2 brewpubs in Kentucky before (one which I installed & opened), and I am currently brewing at a Microbrewery in Indiana with a capacity of 5600 bbl. this year and growing. Drop me a line anytime!

I really appreciate the responses and support I'm getting from brewers of both flavors. Thanks for all the links and contacts!
