Position Summary:
· is one of a team of three Front Line Managers who are responsible for day to day operation of the Brewing Department at the London Ontario Brewery.
· is part of the “technical team” for the brewery
· will have responsibility for the performance of applicable subdepartment in Brewing (Brewhouse, Fermentation/Aging/Production Planning, Filtration)
Key Responsibilities:
· Overall responsibility for the successful performance of the applicable area in Brewing in terms of Safety, Quality, Employee Relations and Cost performance
· Front Line Management responsibilities include Safety, Training and Supervision of Unionized employees
· Quality and Technical responsibilities include recipe management and technical troubleshooting of processes and equipment
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
· Post High school education in Sciences related (or work related training and education that is comparable to post secondary education)
· 2 years work experience in manufacturing (ideally Brewing or Food Industry)
· Language skills: Must have proficient English oral and written skills
Additional Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
· Work experience and/or Technical training in Brewing Industry is an asset but not absolutely essential
· Work experience as a Supervisor (Front Line Manager) of employees (Supervisory experience in a Unionized work environment is an asset)
