Growth for low and no-alcohol beverages continues to impress, with latest figures indicating that growth for the two categories grew by 5% globally in 2023 and is expected to grow another 15% in the US through 2027. The no-alcohol market in the US is now worth over $1.8 billion.
The latest report from IWSR includes data from the world’s top 10 no/low alcohol markets, which account for about 70% of the total volume in the category. IWSR is a source of data and insight on the global beverage alcohol market.
Almost a fifth (17%) of all no-alcohol consumers in the past year were new entrants. This trend is especially evident in emerging no- and low-alcohol markets such as the US and Canada.
Overall no-alcohol share of the overall alcohol market expected to grow to nearly 4% by 2027.
