million investment in its Jacksonville, Florida brewery. Over the last 5 years, AB has invested nearly $2 billion in its various breweries in the US.
The Jacksonville brewery has been in operations since 1969.
“Investing in the communities where our people live and work is part of who we are,” Brendan Whitworth, CEO of Anheuser-Busch, said in a press release. According to the release, the investment includes upgrades to maintain quality standards and efficiency, as well as updates to beer-manufacturing equipment and plant infrastructure.
AB said it has invested nearly $2 billion its facilities across the country in the last five years.
