The Blue Moon brewpub, located in Denver’s River North Art District and owned by Molson Coors will be closing at the end of March. The brewpub has been in business for nine years.
The location includes a 20-barrel brewhouse, a 400-seat restaurant and 30 draft lines. The 30,000-square-foot space also houses a stage and an outdoor patio area.
The Blue Moon Sandlot Brewery at Denver’s Coors Field, where Blue Moon was first created in 1995 will remain in business.
The ‘RiNo’ district in Denver has seen multiple breweries close, including Epic Brewing and 14er Brewing.
The closure is another step away from the craft beer segment for Molson Coors. The company sold off four craft brands to cannabis company Tilray in August of 2024 and dissolved its Tenth & Blake craft subsidiary.
