We are offering these two insulated, jacketed fermenters. They were purchased at auction but we’ve never used them at our brewery, so you get the deal!

The fermenters are both rated 42 bbl, with four legs and pads each. Each has two cooling jackets, one sidewall extending about half the height of the sides, one cone. Jackets appear to be spiral-welded (see photos). Overall height is 14′, sidewalls are 98″ high. Fully clad in stainless and insulated.

Domed tops have two 1″ downtube ports w 1 1/2″ TC flanges, one 3″ port w 3″ TC flange, clamp and cap and one sight glass. Both ferms have two downtubes, one with JVNW Pressure/Vacuum Relief Valve and butterfly valve, one CIP (on each ferm).

Each ferm has two 1 1/2″ TC sample/carbonation ports next to the manway doors. 1″ racking arm mounts to a 1 1/2″ TC port near the top of the cone, and the bottom has a 1 1/2″ dump port. One thermowell is mounted just above the cone.

Both fermenters are in very good condition, with a few dents and a very small amount of contact rust staining that will clean off easily. Insides look very good, as do the welds.

The ferms are currently resting on their sides, so I can’t get a picture of the data plates, if any. When we can stand them up, I’ll add the data plate w/Serial Number. JVNW is still in business and may have records for these.
